Serving The Interests Of Equestrians In The Twin Oaks Valley of San Marcos
With over 30 miles of groomed trails, we are truly lucky to live in such an equestrian trail friendly community. With our primary goal to "Keep It Equestrian", we continue to be active with board members on the critical City of San Marcos committees that provide guidance and recommendations for the future development of these trails.
If you love to trail ride, it doesn't get much better than the City of San Marcos Horse Trails. Many residents seeking the perfect equestrian property in North County San Diego have purchased homes in the City of San Marcos next to the trails system as they are able to ride right out of their backyards onto these fabulous maintained horse trails. Those who do not live next to the trails are able to trailer their horses to the Walnut Grove Equestrian Park where they can stage their ride 7 days a week. The Walnut Grove Equestrian Park conveniently offers to the public two arenas, water and six pipe corrals.
The Twin Oaks Valley equestrian trail was used this past October for the TOVEA Poker Ride & Stride that raised over $13,000 for the Walnut Grove Equestrian Park. Many TOVEA members ride this section of the trails almost daily.
