Serving The Interests Of Equestrians In The Twin Oaks Valley of San Marcos
|
The San Diego County Water Authority is building a treatment plant adjacent
to their existing facilities at the north end of North Twin Oaks Valley Road.
This plant will process a million gallons a day and will produce enough treated
water to meet expected usage through 2030. As a result of our concerns
about the safety of their trucking in and using liquid chlorine gas, they have
now agreed to use sodium hypochlorite which they will produce on site, thus
eliminating more trucks. However, during their two-year construction phase,
we can expect additional truck traffic. They will be providing a phone number
once construction begins should we have any issues or concerns.
